Today I bought a bunch of books to sell, including a big stack of an author who writes what's labeled "Paranormal Romance," which I'm pretty sure means "Wank Fodder with Vampires or Ghosts or Werewolves Thrown In." So you'll want to get in on that.
I also invented this disgustilicious treat, which I love you enough to share:
Toasted Peanut Butter Chocolate Cinnamon Sandwich
You need:
2 slices Pepperidge Farm Brown Sugar Cinnamon Swirl Bread (If you don't like cinnamon and chocolate, you can substitute plain ol' white bread. You wuss.)
Peanut butter
softened butter
chocolate chips (I used milk chocolate, but then I also used peanut butter without sugar in it, so whatever you like.)
a small frying pan, with a lid
spatula/flipper
stove
plate
Okay, butter one slice of bread. Peanut butter the other, then sprinkle some chocolate chips on top of the peanut butter. Now, place the other slice of bread, BUTTER SIDE UP (this is important) on top of the chips.
Melt a little butter in your frying pan over low heat. Put the sandwich in the pan, unbuttered side down, and put the lid on the pan. Cook the sandwich over low heat until the butter on top is melting. CAREFULLY flip your sandwich over, put the lid back on, give it another minute, and turn off the heat. Leave the lid on for about a minute.
Transfer sandwich to plate and cut it in half with the spatula. This is pretty rich, so you may want to share the other half with a loved one.
