honeymonsterI forgot to mention that while I was at my brother's last weekend one of our new snakes died. Today I helped take the other one to the vet. It's not moving around like usual and we don't think it's eating. Poor Sid. I hope she/he gets better.
Went to make chicken parmesan tonight and found we were out of breadcrumbs. My father suggested crackers, and smashed some up for me. Mixed with spices, crushed Ritz crackers make a dandy substitute for storebought breadcrumbs.
Got the new Palahniuk book from the library today. Can a dog really die from eating an onion? As usual, I'm swept up by the writing, but I'm withholding judgment until the end.
As a book geek of a certain type, I sometimes feel a failure for not liking Neil Gaiman or Anais Nin.
