May. 11th, 2005 12:06 amProse or Poetry? Prose, mostly. Poetry if I can get into it, which I sometimes can't, even if I like it.
Book you're reading now: actually between books--just finished one tonight and have yet to pick another one.
Last book you read: The Knight
Next book you're going to buy/read: I'm really not sure. I have two downstairs I'm not so keen on, so I might try to beg a ride to the library tomorrow.
Book you've read the most times: Frog, I don't know.
Longest book you've read: Either The Once and Future King or Lord of the Rings. I don't know which is longer. I also read the uncut Stand once.
Book you've read in the shortest time (relative to the number of pages): You've got me. I read incredibly fast anyway, so I'd say something with lots of pictures and big lettering.
One book you wanted to read that disappointed you: The Last of the Savages, Jay McInerney
Have you read books in a language different from yours? I wish.
Writer you've read the most books from: I have no idea. But, given their output, it was probably one of these: Stephen King, Christopher Pike, Daniel Pinkwater, Gordon Korman or.. Mercer Mayer.
Some books you like (not necessarily your faves):
1.) The Sundial, Shirley Jackson
2.) Young Adults, Daniel Pinkwater
3.) A Fine Dark Line, Joe R. Lansdale
4.) Dooly and the Snortsnoot, Jack Kemp
5.) All I Need to Know About Filmmaking I Learned from the Toxic Avenger, Lloyd Kaufman
Three books you don't like:
1.) The Basic Eight, Daniel Handler
2.) Season of the Witch, James Leo Herlihy
3.) Midnight for Charlie Bone, Jenny Nimmo
