I found an ex-library copy of Below the Root while on my buying trip. It has big Xs all over the endpapers, but is in otherwise good condition--and it's MINE!
I also found a big, heavy, pretty edition of The Secret Garden I will probably keep. It's lovely.
A novelization of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies The Dream Warrior and The Dream Child is among the oddities I felt an urge to grab.
I have lots of Roger Zelazny's Amber stuff. In hardback, with dust jackets, but book club.
Also, two nice shiny hardback reprints of the original first two Nancy Drew books.
Rona made squealing noises over the Harry Harrison stuff, so if she likes them I'll let her keep 'em.
Oh, and if anyone is looking for a bunch of Babysitter's Club or Sweet Valley junk, I know where to find it.
