you don't have to buy me a ring
Sep. 7th, 2004 10:18 pmToday, got up read the funnies, ate breakfast, took a shower, went to the library.
As I returned my books I noticed a big book on penguins sitting on top of a large pile on the desk (it was a shambles back there, good FROG), and one of the ladies was nice enough to check it back in for me so I could get it, even though they were super busy.
I was looking for the play that a movie I watched yesterday morning is based on, but it wasn't there. I did find one sci-fi collection, two interesting-looking non-fiction titles, and then I grabbed two books from the YA section.
I also picked up some more sale books. I just can't resist the damn things. Started out looking for a birthday present for Pete, but I couldn't figure out whether I was looking for something my big brother would like or something even my big brother would like. We don't hang out so much anymore.
In the kid's book section I got a Dr. Seuss beginning reader, one of those "Serendipity" books with a corny story but great cute pics of rabbits to use for book covers, a tiny present for Jeffrey, a novel that looked like fun and a book on raising cats. I almost grabbed an "Eek the Cat" comic book, but luckily I tried to read it first. Oh, and one regular novel.
I know you're fascinated.
Still reading Lovecraft.
