went for a ride in a flying shoe
Aug. 12th, 2004 02:10 amMy silliness decided to express itself in verse:
It seems I must have been a bore.
For, "Get a life!" said he, as he slammed the door.
I looked, and I looked, then looked some more.
For they don't sell them at the store,
No-one drops them on the floor,
To take another's means unnecessary gore--
So I suppose I must stay life-poor . . .
At least it's easy to ignore--
Though not for you, I'm very sure.
Three guesses as to my favorite rhyming poets.
