Call off the search party!

honeymonsterThe afternoon of the seventeenth (a Saturday), there was a thunderstorm around here. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but there was an electrical surge, and everything connected to the cable service died. We lost three TVs, three cable boxes.. and the computer.
Rona was going INSANE. All she does for "leisure" is watch television while sitting at the computer. So she called the insurance people and the cable company. The computer people, too. She was told she couldn't have the part she needed for the computer before the next Thursday unless she paid extra money.
So, the cable people came.. then new TVs were bought. But Thursday came and went and no computer part. She called and ranted, raved, bitched and cried--and found out they'd lost the order.
Anyhoo, long story short, the part didn't show up until today. I'm trying to scan the books I made in the meantime. I need to catch up with everybody and I have big updates for the book and movie blogs.
Sorry if I worried you. It hasn't exactly been a picnic with Corey Feldman for me, either.
