My father dropped me off at the library next door to Steve's on his way to the doctor. I went to the cartoon collections, the graphic novels, the new releases (new Joe R. Lansdale! Score!), then straight to the kids' section where I spent the rest of the time scootching around on my butt,dragging my bag and picking stuff out.
I'd just gotten up to go to the reading room or something and start on the stack and I saw him across the hall. I weeded out half of the books (the bag was too heavy), wrote down the titles, and we went to the counter where I pleaded on behalf of my dumbass-forgot-her-wallet self. It worked, books are a go! 8>
Man, I love books.
