Drama before noon?
Mar. 6th, 2004 10:06 amWhen I woke up, the dryer was running. This wouldn't be a problem, except I'd started it seven or eight hours ago.
So I told Rona about it, and she was only mildly concerned--until she tried to cook her breakfast and found that we were out of gas.
I thought it was the dryer malfunctioning, but Rona says that when the gas ran out, the dryer couldn't reach the temperature it stops at, so it kept going.
The gas delivery people were quite quick about the whole thing.
And oddly enough, even though Rona was really agitated, she didn't try taking it out on me! (This is amazing.)
Exciting morning. I think I'll go back to bed.
