Okay, a while ago, I posted that my half-sister had gotten in touch with me. Then there was the rather rude e-mail about my writing.

I guess it comes as no surprise that we aren't in contact anymore.

I kind of wish she'd never tried in the first place. There's something a lot sadder about knowing you have nothing in common with a blood relation than there is about knowing somebody's vaguely out there.

Kind of hoping the half-brother stays lost.
