honeymonsterToday will go down in history as the day Honey got off her ass and did something.
Returned pants, mailed package, bought stamps. Found out sending a Christmas card to Australia will cost me eighty cents this year. Whimpered a little. Did a little shopping at the dollar store. (Nifty wrapping paper.)
It was raining by the time we got out of there. I was actually glad of that when we got to the library, though, because soggy snow is better than ice. Spent three fifty at the library--more Christmas shopping. Think that's it for the kids now, anyway.
Oh, and I only took out one book by Ursula K. Le Guin and all the John Bellairs I hadn't read yet. I have a lot of books to test drive for other people.
Before returning the pants, I actually called to work out the exchange! Yes, I talked on the phone to a stranger voluntarily. Don't all get up at once.
