honeymonsterOh Christ. Okay, after I got out of the shower I was sitting at the kitchen table reading and my father came into the room. I looked at him and said, "This book is really fucking depressing. I need a hug."
He asked me why I was reading it, and I said, "'Cause it's well-written, I guess. Also, I'm almost done."
Then to top it off we went out into the gray weather to the bank. I had to close my checking account. I wasn't sure I'd get all my money, but no, I got the whole seven dollars and fifty cents back. Now I can send Sammy his prize.
It was raining by the time I got out of there.
Bought a bunch of used kid's books cheap at the library. I'm thinkin' Christmas presents.
