In the garage today I found some interesting things. Book 2 of Nancy Drew Case Files (1986) (sell). Memories of Midnight, Sidney Sheldon (sell). The Feast Day, about Joan of Arc (the dust jacket fell off, but it's in fairly good condition and a first edition hardback.. sell). A completely trashed copy of The Empire Strikes Back Storybook (looks like water damage.. ugly, that is). Novelization of same (better condition.. sell). A book about Vincent Van Gogh I'd forgotten having (keep). An issue of Ranger Rick from 1983. And a book about baby animals I've had since I was little, in great shape except for the dust cover (keep).

I took them over to the back porch and cleaned off the mouse poop as well as possible before I brought them in the house. Mouse turds and dust are the biggest problems with books kept in the garage.
