New York City is fascinating and intimidating at the same time. All that traffic! Yikes. The area I was in was very neat. We stayed with my mother's brother, my Uncle Frank, who is some sort of martial arts guru.. he runs the Wu Tang Physical Culture Association. His bathroom bookshelf is full of stuff like tantric sex books and a few old playboys. He is pretty nice, but strange. Steve was there too, and there were many scenes where everyone was smoking pot but us.

When I go there I am always fascinated by his cats. I fell asleep with them in the bed with me twice. They are big fat wonderful kitties.

Today before we left my Uncle Steve, my brother Steve and I had lunch with my cousin Emma. I hadn't seen her in nearly six years. She looked great. She's really pretty and seems very much in control of her life. Yes, I'm jealous.

I had fun on the trip, I guess. It was definitely interesting, and more fun than hanging around the house again this weekend.
