So, the last book I finished reading was Abarat by Clive Barker. It's supposed to be a kid's book, but it strikes me as a bit violent for that. Starts out a little shaky, but then he falls into a rhthym and it's just a Barker book without the sex.. and much better than the last couple of "grownup" books he's done.

The best thing is the art, though. I love Barker's style, and I scanned a lot of photos from the book.
Of course, I then had the mad urge to make icons..
