I got this cool e-mail from my writing page today..
Don't give up writing the laundromat diary, if you haven't already done so several years ago and this isn't a dead webpage nobody bothered to take down. It's beautiful and it rings absolutely true. Don't stop. Please.
Too bad I have no idea where that story's going, because that's the nicest writing feedback I've gotten in an age..
[Edit: I've just re-read the story and I think part of the problem was that I was trying to push the story in a direction it didn't want to go. Yeah, I was going to confront Sue's privacy issues, but at the same time I was still fighting my sexuality hard, and because of that, I was screwing everything up. I need to find out what "really" happens.]
