Last night I discovered that our cat really likes leftover pot roast.

This morning the check for my comic books had been torn out of the envelope waiting to get mailed and void had been written across it. I was very pissed off. Actually, so was my father. When he called Rona, he practically yelled at her. "I know there's no money in there! We're going to deposit it today!"

As if the envelope would get to New England before we got to to the bank. Sometimes that woman is so ridiculous I want to smack her silly. But she'd like that.

My plans for the rest of the day involve reading and kitty-snuggling.
