Evolution of a neopet:

One day I want to the updates page and found they had released a new pet. I already had three and had planned to stop there,but for some reason, I found it adorable.

I got one and named her Ms_Morning_Star. She's a Koi.

Almost a year later, Neopets decided to change the look of the Koi, because not many people were adopting them. Apparently most people sided with Steve in thinking they were ugly.

One day I logged on and she looked like this:


I didn't like the new shade of green, so I went to find a blue paintbrush:


And slowly but surely, I got used to her again. Then one day they came out with a halloween version of the Koi. It was so cute! And it fit her name just right. But I wasn't finding one at random and everywhere I looked they cost 50,000 neopoints. However, recently I looked at all of the points I have and wondered what the hell I was saving up for.. so now Morning Star looks like this:
