more car trouble
Dec. 11th, 2021 06:48 pm Did I tell you my car was at the shop for three months and they didn't find anything wrong with it?
Yesterday I went out to drive to my therapy session and the goddamn car wouldn't let me in. To explain, I have a car with keyless everything, the "key" is a fob you just keep in your pocket. This is very cool and sci-fi until it doesn't work. You also can't open the hood without getting at a switch inside the car.
Luckily I have a brother I talk to almost every day, and he googled it. There was like ONE idea that might work. So I went out this afternoon, held the handle open and thumped on the door, and my car opened.
My first sensation was relief. Then I was like, what a shitty lock. But anyway, hopefully now the mechanic can fix whatever happened. I think my battery is dead. I mean, the car's battery. Which is a pain in the ass, since it just got replaced last summer.
In other news, I have a lingering sinus infection and can't stop watching Mythical Kitchen videos on youtube. No clue whether those two are related.
