Life update

My stepbrother is out of jail and in a christian halfway home. He converted almost as soon as he went in. This rather disconcerted his jewish parents.
Anyway, we have custody of his skink for the moment. He's a nice lizard, his name is Tiamat. I have no idea what that means.
It's been damn near two months, and the bathroom off Rona's office is supposed to be done tomorrow. Keep in mind, the estimate was originally a week and a half.
After many exchanges, I finally have a pair of dress shoes that fit. They are not very comfortable. Does anyone know where I can get that spray that weatherproofs suede?
Now the trial is on the roster for November. Maybe. I have a new lawyer. He's cute and kind of annoying. He doesn't approve of my swearing.
On Friday I had a deposition on my medical condition since the last deposition, which was eight years ago. I got all dressed up (for me) and skipped my morning nap. It was nerve-wracking, but short.
I am being patronized by my lawyer, who is probably younger than me.
Lately, I have been overwhelmed by the emptiness of my life, and as there is nothing I can do about it, the whole thing is rather depressing. Sometimes I wonder why I bother looking after my blood pressure and cholesterol. What's the damn point?
Edit: also my elbow has been bloody well killing me the last few days. Hurts to move.
