I don't know why I bother.

1. Total number of books I've owned:
I am not someone who sits around and counts her books. Anyway, if I did that, I wouldn't have time to READ the damn things.
2. The last book I bought:
Two big sacks at the library book sale. Which counts as the last?
3. The last book I read:
Yesterday I read The Woman in the Wall. This afternoon I finished re-reading Alan Mendelsohn, the Boy From Mars, though, so I guess that's the one.
4. Five books that mean a lot to me:
This is a tough one. Okay, umm..
Winnie the Pooh, A.A. Milne, for reasons that should be obvious.
Young Adults, Daniel Pinkwater. First, because it's the first of his books I read, second, because it's brilliant.
Weetzie Bat, my old pink paperback that's more than thirteen years old now, because it meant so much back then.
And whichever book is my current diary, because it listens to me.
Okay, now I'm supposed to tag people to do this.. umm..
