Television time..
Feb. 10th, 2001 01:34 am("Iron Chef") Does anyone else think Chairman Kaga is just awesome? When he grins in the credits I laugh every time. To go after a dream like he did is admirable as well. :>
("Dragonball Z") I finally stumbled across the reason Bulma's kid is named Trunks. I remembered that in my first DragonBall GN Goku was vey amused because "Bulma" is supposed to mean "bloomers." Hmmm.. One of the reasons I love the show is that the characters are very established and not interchangable.
("Babylon 5") I loved this show from the start. We just had (repeats on the sci-fi channel) the Apocolypse Now episode ("Mars. I can't believe I'm back on Mars.") and the 1984/Closetland two-parter (Identified by Steve, haven't seen either, sadly.) But what I really love, again, are the characters. You really get to care for them. And the best part is that all of the main characters are so intelligent. I love that. The clever way they solve things.
Back to "Iron Chef." Today's ingredient is grossing me out. I don't eat fungus, thank you.
Whee! Babbling about unimportant things is fun!
Oh! One more B5 thing. Steve told me all about the other Garibaldi during the first run and I was quite impressed. So it's not just a show, it's a history lesson! ;>
