Snickerdoodles
Stir together:

2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon

and put it on a plate. Set aside.

Cream together:

1 cup softened butter
1 and 1/2 cups sugar

Mix in:

2 eggs, one at a time
2 and 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Chill. Roll the chilled dough into balls, then roll the balls in reserved cinnamon sugar.
Bake at 375º F for ten to twelve minutes.
