baked mocha pudding

honeymonster1 and 1/4 cups sifted cake flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 square (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
2 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 and 1/2 cups hot coffee
2 squares (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
Mix first four ingredients together with a fork. Either grate one square of the chocolate or chop it finely. Melt butter, mix in chocolate until it melts. Add milk and vanilla to chocolate mixture, stir. Add to dry ingredients all at once, stir until blended. Place batter into greased casserole. Sprinkle brown sugar over it. Grate or chop remaining chocolate, mix into coffee until blended. Pour coffee over brown sugar. Bake at 350º F for 45 to 50 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
