honeymonsterWhen I was 12 & 13, I was heavily into "Jem & the Holograms," or whatever the hell that show was called.
I got a chance to see an episode today. I guess I must've been a really YOUNG 13, because that show is shit. The art is terrible, the story lines are trite and stupid to boot, and the music.. ugh. It all sounds the same, and it is some of the most souless.. it makes Barry Manilow look like James Brown.
I guess it was just the whole rock star/bunch of friends thing that grabbed me as a kid.
I also got a glimpse of that My Little Pony show that is apparently big. I thought it was nauseating.
But hey, "Fairly Oddparents" is still on the air!
Sigh.
