The library my brother Steve used to live next door to is having a bag sale today. And my father let me drive there! And it's raining. Last time we went, he was afraid I'd kill him if I drove.
The bags only cost two bucks apiece! I bought so many books, people. I could have bought more, but it was time to go home. I let them keep that last bag.
And I drove back home! It took me a while, but I think I am finally getting the hang of this. I still have to work on backing up, though. and parking perpendicular.
I am going to suffer tonight. Somehow I managed to whack my bad elbow on a bookshelf, then when I was walking in the front door the back of my shoe caught in the storm door and pulled off. This wouldn't be such a big deal, except that I stumbled and whacked the bad arm just under the shoulder joint.
I should take some preventative Aleve--except that I'm running on one pancake and two packs of vending machine cracker sandwiches, so I'd better eat something first.
