driving lesson & baking

Driving lesson yesterday morning. I did some driving where he didn't hang onto the wheel! Also I am learning parallel parking. And I sat through a five-minute lecture on why global warming is a hoax.

Some people really know how to take advantage of a captive audience.

Tonight I am trying another recipe for spinach quiche. The bacon was optional, but I went with it. I might not have if we didn't have already cooked and crumbled bacon-in-a-bag.

However, this recipe calls for fresh spinach, and Rona bought the baby kind. Even after I found it was easier to tear than coarsely chop, it took me an hour just to prepare the spinach. Not worth it.

Anyhow, pictures after it comes out of the oven.
