When exactly did libraries start giving out reciepts? I realize I haven't had a library card (before this one) in a while, but this seems very new to me..
My father wanted me to hurry up and pick something, so from the first row of books (A-C) I got:
E: a novel
Mum's the Word
The Perks of Being a Wallflower
Lulu in Hollywood (I suspect this of being misfiled, but fuck it)
Hook
The Long Goodbye
Book orgy!

Apr. 16th, 2002 10:16 pmSteve was actually stunned when I told him about Lulu in Hollywood, 'cause it's a collection of autobiographical essays by Louise Brooks, a silent film star he's quite taken with. If I was going to have access to transportation this weekend I'd loan it to him. Since I won't, maybe I'll see if it's still in print.. his birthday's the end of next month..
Right now I'm reading a mystery by Dorothy Cannell.. they're silly bits of fluff, but bits of fluff I can stand. :>
current words: Mum's the Word, Dorothy Cannell
